The Cento1 Crono is the dream of every time trialist or triathlete, the most aerodynamically sculpted weapon available for a race against the clock. Every millimeter of its lines have been influenced by the latest in aerodynamics research, including wave form dynamics. But that’s not all: the Cento1 Crono was developed with YOU in mind - every size considers the fit of the athlete who will ride it as well as directing air not only around tubes and spinning wheels, but around the rider’s body and spinning legs. This bike is an evolution of our Tri-Crono and provides the benefits of an integrated airfoil seatmast. Our Tri-Crono is a John Cobb design. Cobb is one of the world’s most respected authorities in the fields of aerodynamics and biomechanics. He has spent as much time in wind tunnels as any other figure in cycling and triathlon. The Tri-Crono is the aero weapon of choice in the arsenal of ProTour Team Lampre, Under 23 time-trial World Champion Adriano Malori and two of professional triathlon’s best time-trialists, Kate Major and Chris McDonald. Its inimitable design is both cutting-edge aggressive and harmoniously beautiful. Our Tri-Crono sets the absolute standard of aerodynamic function and style. JOHN COBB For over twenty years, John Cobb has been working with some of the biggest names in cycling and triathlon. He is considered one of the foremost authorities in aerodynamics and biomechanics and is the owner of multiple design patents. Lance Armstrong and Greg LeMond consulted him in order to perfect their aerodynamic positioning, and Cobb continues to work with world-class athletes who look to him to help them maximize their ergonomics, comfort, efficiency and power. Wilier Triestina has benefitted from John Cobb’s counsel since 2007, when together they worked to improve Damiano Cunego’s aerodynamic positioning in a Houston, Texas, wind tunnel.
